We have just returned from an amazing trip to Germany, where we traveled to Spoga Equine Fair, perusing the latest innovations in saddles, tack and equipment available. Than it was on to Klaus Balkenhol’s Farm, where we observed the master at work!

Watching the amazing horses and the high caliber riders at the Balkenhol training facility was profound. We had an opportunity to work on saddle fitting issues here that are the same as many we see in the States. We discussed the particular issues facing both horse and rider at this years Olympics in Beijing.

Our trip to Germany was combined with valuable time spent at the Albion Factory and Testing Farm in England. It is always a wonderful and rewarding opportunity to work with Paul and Sherry Belton, the Chairman and Managing Director of Albion Saddlemakers. Here in Walsall we were able to be involved with product development at the factory and see first hand the work being done to make Albion Saddles, tack and KB Bridles even better. We watched and worked alongside the Albion Master Saddlers, as they highlighted their craftsmanship, and educated us regarding changes and possibilities in the many different saddle lines.

Spoga Horse, Klaus Balkenhol, Albion Factory and Farm- All intensely interesting–Please check back to see what new developments and products we are offering in the coming months.
